| As the backbone of the Chinese intelligent power grid power grid, the scale of UHV power grids is becoming larger, the UHV power grid will cover the whole country by the end of2020. Because of thefeatures of UHV power grids such as the line with8spit form, low resistance of transmission lines, long distance of power transmission and adopting high-power single-phase transformer and so on, the GIC will larger in the UHV power grid, the endangers caused by geomagnetic storm should to be researched. Among them, it is important to calculate the GIC in the UHV power grids, analysis the major effects of the GIC and estimates therisk of the Grid disasters.The GIC level calculation model of the UHV power grids of2020UHV power grids is established according to the elements of GIC current circulation, the GIC level is made using the geomagnetic data of related geomagnetic station in three different years. The influence of the geographical factors, power grid factors and storms factors on the UHV power grids is analysised and the factors is varied through the simulation by MATLAB/SIMULINK and theory analysis. According to the effect mechanism of UHV and the main influence factors by the storm, the disaster risk estimation methods of magnetic storms of the UHV power grids is putted forward,the risk of the UHV power grids is estamated.The UHV power grids is compared to the grid of QuebecCanada which has been suffered disasters caused by storm. Then some suggestions to deal with the grid disasters caused bygeomagnetic storm is given and compared.And the scheme to prevent the disaster in UHV power grids is given in the end. |
