Study On Several Questions Concerning Specific Plan Of Jiangxi Urban Drainage Engineering

As the process of urbanization accelerates, water contamination and other problems concerning water resources in cities have become even more alarming. In this context, making scientific and specific plan for urban drainage engineering is put on a very important position. This article sets out to discuss the content and technical position of the specific plan for urban drainage engineering, as well as the differences of making such plan between China and abroad. Apart from that, it also examines the focuses of making such plan in the new era, concluding3major aspects, namely, the choice of urban drainage system, displacement prediction and plan for rain water utilization. Furthermore, some reasonable suggestions are provided concerning these3aspects in the process of making plans for urban drainage engineering for Jiangxi province, based on the status quo of urbanization in Jiangxi province and the current practice of individual cities. In closing, taking Ying Tan Urban drainage specific plan2010-2020as an example. The main results of this article are as follows:1.After investigating the status quo of urban and drainage project construction, this article analyses the main problems in existing drainage system in Jiangxi province. Besides, it makes a comprehensive comparison of the characters and differences among varied systems, based on which some reasonable suggestions are made on the choice of drainage system and methods of transforming current systems.2.This article describes the main method of the current displacement prediction, making a careful study on some key index, such as interception ratio,recurrence interval and so on. In addition, this article puts forward some reasonable suggestions on how to choose the right value within the range of these index with different factors concerned.3.It discusses the significance and urgency of using rainwater under new circumstances and making plans for it, making an extensive investigation on problems caused by urban rainwater and measures to counter these problems as well as feasible plan for rainwater utilization in the phase of planing for drainage engineering. 4.To discuss the three major problems, this article makes careful study on the practice of Ying Tan Urban drainage specific plan2010～2020and combines with Outline for Specific Plan on Jiagnxi Urban Drainage(Trial), so as to provide relevant suggestions and guidance for domestic cities and regions with similar conditions.
