The Service Apartment Interior Design Research

China will gather more and more attention from other countries of the world, because of the rapid development of Chinese economy and the establishment of the world's second largest economic entity in recent years. Along with the influx of a large quantity of foreign personnel, half of the world's top enterprises set up administrative offices in Beijing, Shanghai and other cities, which brought great opportunities for the development of the service apartment. Furthermore, the promulgating of the stricter new real estate deal in2010did add fuel to the development of the commercial real estate, e.g. the service apartment.The service apartment has been developed rapidly for more than10years inChina. Though extraordinary cases of the interior design exist, the general level of it could not correspond to the current situation of its development. Most of the interior design programs use the experience of the resort hotels or business hotels, etc. for reference, rather than form an interior design system which fits the characteristics of the service apartment, leading to its chaotic situation currently, and failure to reveal its features. The growing contradiction between supply and demand embodies the study of the service apartment's interior design is of great importance.Therefore, in this paper, I compared the interior design between the service apartment and the ordinary civil residence by field investigation. After understanding the status quo of its interior design, I analyzed the various factors which affect the project, and put forward the interior design principle of the service apartment. While combining the design principle, this paper also discussed the interior design method thoroughly, looking forward to offer some reference for the interior design of the service apartment in the future. And put forward direction toward the service apartment to the international apartment and private club.
