In polymer mixed processing, agricultural machinery, pharmaceuticalchemicals, food, microelectronics, ceramics, and etc, the powder and particlematerials movements on the working surface were related. In these relatedequipment's manufacturing processes and practical selection, powdermaterials' on working parts of the surface friction coefficient is very important. And, the pressure, temperature, speed and sliding time of powder materialswill have certain effect on friction coefficient of the power. Therefore, accurately measuring the friction coefficient of powder and studying thechanging law of the friction coefficient are very important and value.According to the definition of friction coefficient and the characteristicsof materials, we puts forward a measurement method of bulk materialsfrictional coefficient in this paper. Namely, we should firstly set thetemperature of the material and rotating speed, test powder pressure androtating torque, then convert the positive pressure and friction of material, lastcalculate the friction coefficient. According to the above design concept, we design new experimentequipment being used to test friction coefficient of powder materials. Werepeat experiments with different powder materials using mentionedequipment, and we can prove the design thought is reasonable through theexperimental results. Through the testing powder friction coefficient atdifferent pressure, temperature and speed, we have obtained fitting curves offriction coefficient vs pressure, temperature and speed. In the end, we canmaster the friction properties of the material through researching the frictioncoefficient changing rules and analyzing the reason for the variation of frictioncoefficient.
