In recent years, followed by high speed development of Electronics technology, LED's products'development, study and manufactory are becoming a bright future business. LED product shows that it has huge potential market. LED by virtue of their unique advantages quickly become the new home lighting along the main alternative. The development of LED technology has been concerned by worldwide lighting technology expert. Nowadays LED becomes a high-tech product with deeply influential to this world.In this paper, the current situation of the development of semiconductors, focusing on the structural characteristics of the semiconductor, high-power semiconductor driver circuit and temperature compensation technology. Analysis and discussion focus on the driving circuit of semiconductor research and design of discrete devices using high power LED driver circuit structures, and part of the drive circuit simulation analysis, feasibility conclusions. Finally, the analysis of temperature control research and design based on AVR microcontroller temperature control system.This paper is focus on two points. One is the design of power-driven semiconductor lighting system. Another one is the design and analyses of temperature control. Followed tasks have been done:1. Analysis and study of the now popular LED drive circuit design, for practical design and lay a solid theoretical basis.2.Through the use of high power discrete devices completed the drive power LED lighting hardware circuit design, including the major part of the circuit by the PWM controller circuit, power conversion circuit, rectifier filter circuit, the input electromagnetic interference filter (EMI), output rectifier filter circuit and auxiliary circuits such as lightning protection unit has output short circuit protection circuit, current sensing and overcurrent protection circuit, output overvoltage protection circuit, input over-voltage protection circuit circuit circuit and the front-end boost (Boost) transformation control, buck (Buck) converter, temperature control circuit back-end circuit circuit design is completed while the high-power LED driver circuit temperature control circuit.3. According to the temperature control circuit principle, design the temperature control program based on AVR microcontroller, for the experiment and lay a solid foundation.4. According to the designed hardware circuit, the simulation analysis of some circuits and the whole experiment are completed.This paper shows the design of high power semiconductor LED lighting driver circuit and temperature control applications system. Through the hardware simulation show that this high-power semiconductor lighting drive power feasibility in practical applications. And extends the field of LED lighting in the high-power range of applications. The future of LED lighting in the field of application and design of universal, they have significant dedication.
