With the general principle of"power transmission from west to east, mutual power supply between south and north and nationwide interconnection"having been given in our country, the DC transmission line of long distance and large capacity has been used widely. After using the DC transmission, the technology will cause unfavorable influence on the power network and some of network electrical equipment, especially the phenomenon of DC Bias. This phenomenon can bring a series of questions to network transformer, such as increasing the reactive power loss, noise and local overheat, which affects the transformer life. It is very unfavorable for the power network running safely and steadily.Usually, there are two reasons will cause the DC Bias: one is the geomagnetic storm from the interaction of dynamic change of sun plasma wind and geomagnetic field; the other is the parallel running between DC transmission line and AC transmission line. But the reason of DC Bias in our country is the latter,which as a run way with the earth. At present, the traditional methods of inhibiting DC Bias of transformer are the following three kinds: putting a series resistance in neutral point, putting series capacitor in neutral point and potential compensation. The three kinds of methods have their own disadvantages. In this situation,the studying team provides a new method of inhibiting DC Bias and design a new magnetic flux controllable transformer with the beginning of self-structure.This topic design a power device for the new transformer and this paper provides analysis and introduction of the power device's principle. In the design of hardware, offer the calculation and choice of main devices and analyze the driving circuit and detection circuit of AC current and DC voltage. In the design of software, take modern power inverter and automatic control technology in the control system. The power device can provide conditions for the magnetic properties of two-phase composite magnetic materials, which can inhibit DC Bias.
