Currently on the market,the protocol standard of Magnetostrictive displacement Sensor is too various to unify. However, with the rapid development of Ethernet technology, the TCP/IP protocol is becoming a universal protocol standard. In the system, the embedded technology and network technology are combined to connect the Magnetostrictive displacement Sensor into the Internet. It is not only to realize the unification of communication standard, but also to achieve the remote monitoring and control of the Magnetostrictive displacement Sensor. So that the cost of the system management and maintenance is largely reduced.In the hardware circuit,firstly,the measurement circuit of the Magnetostrictive displacement Sensor was designed by ATmega32,TDC-GP2 and so on;and then,with 32 bit ARM9 microprocessor S3C2440 as the core, supplemented by the corresponding peripheral circuits, an embedded system was constructed; the communication between the embedded system with the Magnetostrictive displacement Sensor was realized through the SPI interface; Meanwhile, the Ethernet controller was taken to achieve the network communication with the PC. The software was based on Linux operating system, and the human-computer interaction based on the B/S mode was realized by building BOA server, designning Web page and compiling CGI applications. Finally,users are able to put up parameter setting, calibrating and real-time monitoring for Magnetostrictive displacement Sensor through the client browser.Based on system debugging and analyzing the result of the test, it is proved that the system has basically achieved the requirements put forward.
