This thesis aims to analyze the performance of ball screw when it is installed typically from both theoretical and experimental aspects, with the background of science and technology major project——"High-Grade Numerical Control Machine Tools and Basic Manufacturing Equipment". The author developed the performance test system of ball screw under typical installation, and researched on the performance parameters of limiting speed, vibration, temperature rise, noise and so on which has practical value to engineering.(1) Analyze the dynamic behavior of ball screw under the typical installation:①According to the definition on the bending curve equation of beam element, solve the beam bending approximate differential equation with bending deflection of ball screw caused by itself gravity, and present the way of bending deformation as well as the location of the maximum deformation where happened.②Calculate the permissible revolution of ball screw in this thesis according to the ball screw industry standard and taking the formula of permissible revolution of ball screw under four installation used by foreign advanced functional component manufacturer, like NSK and THK, etc, as reference.③Simulate the ball screw under four installation by the dynamics simulation software-ANSYS, and calculate its natural frequency and bending deformation form.(2) Design the test system:according to the technical requirements of the testing system; confirm the testing scheme; choose the components for the driving and control parts, and design the program of the test system. This test system can dynamic real-time measure the vibration, temperature rise, noise, limiting speed and such performance parameters of the ball screw under the typical installation.(3) Process and analyze the testing data:obtain the performance test conclusions of ball screw under the typical installation and the application conditions for all kinds of installation, based on the test data, combining the bending curve equation as well as the formula of permissible revolution and ANSYS modal analysis theory results.
