This paper is in the basic of construction of Ayong River Bamu 1st class Hydroelectric Station in Guangnan County, southeast of Yunnan. It studies geography, hydrology, economic, construction task during the constructing period of a hydroelectric station, and estimated environmental impact during constructing and operating.This paper analysis the state of economy and demand of power of Guangnan County, and base on the study of hydrology and geological conditions of Ar Yong River, gave muti-model of site selection, position, main-equipment selection, and get a recommendation after calculation and demonstration. In the meantime, the paper emphasizes both research and practical. According to the recommendation model, it estimates the economic profit and environment affect during constructing period and operating, which demonstrates feasibility of the project.The paper includes four parts, abstract, main body, reference, and acknowledgement. In the main body there is 11 chapters, which includes, society overview, hydrology, geology of the project, task and scale of the project, layout and building, hydro-power machine, electric, structure and heating and ventilation, fire-fighting, soil and water conservation and evaluation of environment affect, investment estimation and economic evaluation.By means of overall data survey and multiple model comparison, the article demonstrates that the Ayong River in Guangnan County still has much room for development with its favorable hydrological and geographical conditions and good civil-work conditions. The preliminary estimate shows that it will generate power after two-year's construction. The paper recommends the installed capacity of Bamu 1st class Hydroelectric Station is 13.2MW, the total investment estimated of the project is 118,668 million RMB. The project is a power project which encouraged by state and local government, it also can reduce the pressure of lack of power supply and provide enough power for the local industry and agriculture, which has a high economic profit.
