Aiming at the power measurement under wide-range frequency deviations, a exit algorithm which can measure the instantaneous frequency and fundamental active power was analysed.by improving using the strongpoint of the algorithm, a simple algorithm for measurement of the instanetaneous frequency and both the fundamental active and apparent power of the power system was presented, which integrates the central idea,the CIC filter and the MLM algorithm of the aforementioned algorithm and the Prony algorithm. Adaptive finite-impulse-response filters (FIR) was used to filter the DC,fundermental and hiher fundermental power, Prony-based algorithm was carried out to measure the frequency and fundamental apparent power.and FIR was used to measure the active power, Maximum-likelihood-estimation (MLM) algorithm was employed to improve the precision of both the fundamental active and apparent power. The results indicate that the measurement with proposed algorithm has a high accuracy over a wide range of frequency changes.Based on the introduction and simulation of the algorithm, discussing the software design of the algorithm in the embedded system to achieve the high precision,real-time measurement.
