The management of line losses is one of the most important work for the power supply enterprise. The weak aspects in the operat ion of the power distribution network and the constitution of the energy losses can be found by calculating the energy losses, so that the relevant reasonable measures can be adopted for reducting the energy losses. From the analysis of fundamental principle for theoretical calculating of line loss,conceptual model and loss-reducing methods of distribution network, this dissertation points out that as far as electrical corporations are concerned,and theoretical calculating of line loss is significant and necessary.Fundamental principle and conceptual model for theoretical calculating of line loss are analyzed in the dissertation, and theoretical calculating of line loss of Juha grid is analyzed in 2008. The influence of load change,electric power network composition, operation mode, line loss, transformer loss and the change of reactive powe compensation device is mainly analyzed in the dissertation.Combining with existing condition of power supply company,the loss-reducing methods of Juhua power supply company are presented in the dissertation, based on the aspects of network configuration optimization and improvement, management of reactive power and harmonic, methods of voltage-reducing, management of data collection, general survey of using electricity, reinforcement of power anti-stealing and measurement improvement of automation leve of line loss management and so on.In the dissertation, the 2-year plan of loss-reducing is presented, and the development of Jhua electric power during 2009-2010 is forecasted. The potentiality of loss-reducing is analyzed. Finally, the loss-reducing target of Juhua electric network in 2010 and main safeguard measures are presented, and execution of the plan is analyzed in the dissertation.
