As rapid development of automatic transmission in the vehicle drive system, it's meaningful to take research on working characteristics of wet clutch. As to deeply understand the slipping performance of wet clutch in engaging process, this dissertation makes deep and systematic research on slipping and thermal load characteristics combined with related experimental study. Mainly contents of the thesis are arranged as follows:Chapter 1, the significance of research on slipping and thermal load characteristics was discussed with the features and trends of wet clutch. A review of previous research work at home and abroad was summarized, and the background and chapters arrangement were finally introduced.Chapter 2, the slipping process of wet clutch friction pair was analyzed. Then the model of slipping work was established through friction torque and relative speed. On the base of model, several influencing factors were discussed through numerical simulation. Finally, analytical results were validated by test data from clutch test rig.Chapter 3, the thermal characteristics of friction pairs was studied aiming to understand the mechanism of transient temperature in the slipping process. Heat transfer model was established, and boundary conditions were confirmed. The influencing factors were discussed by simulation, as well as by experiment.Chapter 4, self-developed clutch test rig was introduced briefly. The main emphasis was focused on measuring methods of friction coefficient, slipping work and transient temperature of friction pairs. Finally, the results of friction coefficient were discussed.Chapter 5, the main jobs and results of the thesis were systematically summarized, and the prospects of further research work were discussed. |
