This paper showed that study on steel welding stress and deformation with combining of test of the model, numerical simulation and experimental validation. Three methods for measurements of welding deformation, stress and strain as follows:method of measuring weld deformation of grid, blind hole measurement of welding residual stress and strain gauge resistance welding process with strain, it's breaking the limitations of real-time monitoring, high-accuracy, non-contact and so on.The model test better shows the welding residual stress distribution and the welding deformation trends of the similar structure. The value of measurement blind hole on the point of web, which close to the weld residual stress,maximum is 40MPa; grid method to measure the maximum displacement of the flange deformation zone near the weld as 0.48828mm, the deformation decreases away from the weld area.Adopted GUI and APDL of ANSYS carried out numerical simulation of temperature field and stress field of multi-channel multi-process welding of weld and bolt welded steel structure. The results showed that:the more dramatic regional temperature changes and the closer welding, as far away from the location of the weld, the temperature gradient is gradually slowing down; the welding residual stress of the weld zone and near the weld zone which much more than the heat affected zone and weld area, but the farther away from the weld, the stress value is less; the stresses and deformations of welding, the bolt will be lead to some stress effects. The hardest effect on the lower row of bolts and bolt.Design verification tests based on model tests and numerical simulation, It show that: strain-strain curves of welding process of real-time monitoring are no major fluctuations. The value of strain of parts of the bolt welded structure are rising with welding, the highest of local strain value are the lower edge which close to the weld zone; When on top of welding is completed, the relative displacement of the row of plywood and reference board reached 0.1mm, after the displacement is to reduce the 0.05mm; the underside row of plywood and reference board no relative displacement.Up to all, the welded flange of weld and bolt structure lead to stresses and deformations which would have been affected on the web, but could not cause the shear failure of bolt.
