This paper researches to devise new infrared decoy that use at rocket. First analysis plumes of engine's infrared spectrum, then study the interference mechanism of infrared decoy because of infrared radiation law.It use Mg and PTFE as the basic component,then adjust the formula and choose additive to realize the similar infrared spectrum between the infrared decoy and plumes of engine. The radiation intensity of infrared decoy is higher than plumes of engine.At the part of experiment, it chooses 6 function additive to improve and simulate spectrum of rocket engine. It use OPAG33 apparatus to test radiation intensity of 6 different formula, and analysis their infrared spectrum. In the same time,using the infrared thermometer to test its burning temperature, and analysis the connection of burning temperature and radiation intensity. Using the density law to calculate its density, then analysis the connection of density and burning time. When density increase, the burning time increase, but burning time increase at a number, it doesn't increase.Through control burning temperature and radiation intensity, it determines the best formula of infrared decoy. It is the formula that have MgAl alloy. Using infrared decoy to measure burning time under different pressure, then analyze the connection between the burning time and pressure. Also study about different particle size of Mg and PTFE that influence burning time.
