| Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) is a new generation cement based material which developed after high-strength concrete, high-performance concrete. It was proposed by Bouggues laboratory in France at the beginning of1990's. The excellent characteristics make RPC a revolutionary application in civil engineering field. At present, studies of RPC focus on material performance rather than structural design or structural calculation. The paper analyzed and discussed the methods to determine section crack-resistant capacity and it is applicable to the engineering structure. This paper is based on the experiment of two rectangular RPC beams and three RPC slabs which have the U-shaped. Combined with the research of domestic and abroad, the flexural capacity, damaged feature, etc of RPC bending members are analyzed. Through the results of the experiment, it can be found that the strength and toughness of RPC bending members are much higher than those of ordinary concrete bending members. Furthermore, the experimental process of the beams and slabs are simulated with ANSYS. To determine RPC bending member's crack-resistant capacity, the depth the section tensile region before cracking of the members are considered in the paper. And the calculated results are confirmed to have a good agreement with the results of the test. To determine RPC beam's ultimate flexural strength, this paper set up the simplified calculating model of both tensile stress and compressive stress. At last, the paper discussed the height of limitary opposite compressive region, maximum and minimum steel ratio. This article contains54pictures,11tables,44references articles. |
