As a material with ultra-high strength and high toughness, reactive powder concrete (RPC) has special material composition and mechanical properties which make reinforced RPC structures different from reinforced concrete structures in failure modes and load bearing capacity. To put this new material into practice, it is necessary to study the capacity of RPC structure under bending, shearing and pressing force in order to provide basic methods for designing reinforced RPC structure.Instead of using the elastoplastic stress curve, this paper uses elastic stress straight line and balance conditions of section to obtain crack load and ultimate load, and it implements equivalence principle to calculate normal section reflection under bending force. Then with reference to relevant standard, a recommended formula of single reinforced rectangular beam under bending force will be put forward in this paper.Softened truss model will also be adopted to analyze RPC structures under shearing force, and a computer program will be used to analyze the strength of RPC, shear span ratio, stirrup ratio, longitudinal reinforcement ratio and flange width all of which affect the bearing capacity.It takes equivalence principle and balance condition to get the ultimate bearing capacity of RPC structure under press load. And then, a calculating method of eccentric size will be carried out so that a recommended formula of RPC structures under press load will be put forward according to relevant standard.Finite element analysis software will be adopted to analyze the three kinds of structures above, and the finite element results are almost the same with experimental data, which means the formulas suggested in this paper could be regard as a recommendation of RPC structure design.
