With the development of digital processing technology, power electronics, motor control and sensor-less technology, the stepper motor servo system is facing new development opportunities, but it also has its own deficiencies. Such as load fluctuations or shocks, the stepper motor is very easy to lose step or be locked, reverse, and the tool can not locate precisely, resulting in serious consequences. The problem of losing step is becoming a constraint to the development of stepping motor servo system.Aiming at the problem of out of step, the author uses the power-angle control strategy and has improved the performance of hybrid stepping motor. This completed work is divided into the establishment of the power-angle model of two-phase hybrid stepping motor, MATLAB/Simulink simulation and experimental validation three parts. Hybrid stepper motor is a kind of nonlinear, strong coupling electromechanical component, and the power angle model is very complex. The model of power-angle is established on the basis of the magnetic network model of two-phase hybrid stepping motor and the power-angle representation is obtained based on the magnetic network model, d-q transformation respectively. Through analysis and simulation, it is found that the method based on magnetic network is suitable for analysis, and the method based on d-q transformation is suitable for control. Finally, the system of the power-angle control strategy is carried out. The experiments' results show that the control strategy does a good job to improve the performance of hybrid stepping motor.
