In recent years, as China's rapid economic development, urban traffic congestion is a growing problem, in order to solve the urban traffic problems, major cities began to use the main road junction overpass or tunnel sink to resolve. As the Sink tunnel space is small, does not affect the city appearance, has been promoting. And to reduce the urban roads and other land occupied and reduce the project cost, there are many tunnel projects across the city using cut shallow artificial lake and other lakes in the park for the construction of tunnels beneath the city. The shallow cut across the lake using the special structure of the tunnel, the upper load large, and long-term high water level in the state, so the waterproofing of the tunnel structure is essential, directly related to the use of the tunnel structure function and durability. How to meet the costruction needs, summed up a simple, accurate and efficient cut shallow lake tunnel waterproofingconstruction technology and related technical measures, such as underground tunnels willneed to address the reality of implementation issues. In this paper, the author focus in a cut in shallow lake water tunnel project , the weak point ofthe construction techniques for the study, focusing on the current domestic and international waterproof engineering design of such tunnels as well as related construction techniques, and according to the project under construction in follow-up study examples, and examples oftheories used in engineering, with the feasibility and rationality of the theory is verified to ensure the successful implementation of projects to improve basic example, but also for the future implementation of similar projects to provide practical experience.
