With the development of China's rapid economic development, with speeding up of the urbanization and the expanding cities, the traffic becomes more crowding. For reducing the traffic pressure, more cities put attention on metro. With the rapid increase in subway mileage, the clean works on subway were greatly increased and the difficulty was also increased. Metro's operational environment not only affects the subway aesthetics, but also affects the traffic safety. Therefore, it is important to keep subway tunnel clean for subway vehicles safe operation. Traditional manual cleaning methods can not meet the demands, so the new cleaning equipment needs to be developed to meet the demands. A new multi tunnel cleaning vehicle (TCV) was researched on in this paper, the key technologies of the TCV were researched on, the mainly functions and structures were determined. The main technologies include:the special wagon, Vacuum system, High-pressure water system. The main research works as followed:1. Determine the function and the structure of TCV. According to the metro tunnel cleaning conditions and demands, the functions were determined in this paper. According to the TCV functions, the three main functions include:high-pressure water washing, brush rolling, vacum recycling.2. According to the metro gauge and the weight of each module on the Tunnel cleaning vehicle, carrying out the lightweight design of the tunnel, based on finite element analysis of tunnel cleaning vehicle body structure optimized design and analysis. Optimize the design of the body weight to achieve a lightweight, lower than the same vehicle to reduce by 15%. After experimental verification, the vehicle design, is reasonable structure compact, static strength and dynamic performance fully meet the actual requirements.3. Carrying out the vacuum cleaning system design and research of the Tunnel cleaning vehicle. The vacuum system was determined, the vacuum system creates a vacuum flow by vacuum fan, sweeps the dust by brush rolling, translate the waste to special box. The air and dust properties and rules were researched in this paper. Based on vacuum collection techniques, air and dust particles to study the feature and the regular pattern, to determine the vacuum pressure vacuum system, the maximum air flow, vacuum brush roller mouth structure and brush roller speed.4. Carrying out further study about high-pressure water washing and cleaning the principle. Design and development of high-pressure water tunnel car wash cleaning system schematic diagram, based on the principle of high pressure water rinse cleaning technology, design and calculation of the water flow, the design system pressure jet nozzle diameter, jet position and angle.
