By the end of 2019,the total length of China’s highways had reached 5.0125 million kilometers,with huge input and high costs in road maintenance.The removal of old traffic sign lines is an important part of road maintenance,the removal of traffic sign lines by high-pressure pure water jet technology has the advantages of high efficiency,environmental protection,and no damage to road substrate,etc.The cost of road maintenance can be saved if this technology is widely used.The vacuum recovery system is an important part of high-pressure pure water jet road marking cleaning equipment,which can recycle the wastewater residue produced in the process of operation to achieve the purpose of environmental protection.In this paper,simulation and experimental analysis are used to study the influence of suction pressure,the distance between the suction port and ground,jet pressure,and other factors on the recovery rate of the vacuum recovery system,and preliminarily determine the optimal parameter selection of the vacuum recovery system.It mainly includes the following aspects:1.The reasons for structural damage caused by high-pressure pure water jets are briefly analyzed.Firstly,the impact force of a water jet with high kinetic energy on the surface of road marking exceeds the yield limit of the marking material,which makes the marking material broken.The second is that the water jet’s unique water wedge effect makes the water flow penetrate from the surface cracks of the marking line into the defects inside the marking line,and accumulate in them,and finally destroy the marking material from inside.The impact of water jet and water wedge function cooperate and promote each other,which greatly improves the efficiency of road marking clearance.2.The overall structure of the recovery chamber of the vacuum recovery system was designed,and the simulation analysis of the recovery chamber model was carried out by using Fluent software.It was found that with the increase of the recovery pressure,the tighter the distribution of the flow line in the recovery chamber,the smoother the streamline shape,and the stronger the recovery capacity of the system.3.The orthogonal experimental range analysis method was used to analyze the test results.The results showed that the order of the influence of the three factors on the recovery rate of the vacuum system was as follows:The vacuum pump suction pressure>The water jet pressure>The distance between the suction port and ground.The optimal parameter combination in this test is as follows:the vacuum pump suction pressure is-0.045MPa,the distance between the suction port and ground is 5mm,and the water jet pressure is 3MPa when the vacuum system recovery rate is larger.4.Based on the orthogonal experiment to the test,the results show that when the other two factors remain unchanged,the recovery rate of recovery system on the whole presents a tendency of increasing with the increase of vacuum pump suction pressure,presents the tendency of decrease with the increase of water jet pressure,with the increase of the distance between the suction port and ground also showed a trend of decline.This paper studies the effect of three main factors of vacuum recovery system on the recovery rate of the system,and the results have a certain reference value for the design of high-pressure water jet road marking cleaning equipment and the parameter selection of vacuum suction system in the actual operation.Figure[38]table[7]reference[81]...
