With the development of science and technology, the missile system has changed a lot in its size, velocity and other aspects. The missile system is of high density in its components with complex structure and strict requirements. All the characters determine that the system cannot finish its task with a simple fault. So the research on the tolerant control of missile system has a great significance.According to the uncertainty of actuator faults and the controller itself in the practical projects, the thesis discusses the tolerant control problem of the BTT (Bank-to-Turn) multi-mode control system. The main work is as follow:Firstly, aiming to the actuator faults in BTT multi-model missile subsystem, the reliable control problem of the subsystem is solved by building the switching model of the subsystem with the introduction of switching mechanism, under the hypothesis that the faults can be repaired after a while. State feedback controller is designed with the method of average dwelltime, making the closed loop system of the subsystem exponential stable. And the state exponential attenuation is presented.Secondly, all the subsystem actuator faults in the BTT multi-model missile is described using continuous fault model. And the state feedback controller is designed with the method of common Lyapunov function to make the BTT multi-model missile asymptotically stable for all the actuator faults. And the reliable controller design problem is transformed into the solution of the LMIs.Thirdly, considering the uncertainties in controller gains practically, which may lead to the deterioration of the control system performance and even instability. An approach for non-fragile controller design is proposed based on linear matrix inequality (LMI) theory and the validity of the non-fragile controller was proved by the simulation results.Concluding remarks are presented at the end of this dissertation. Some open problems are also pointed out, which deserve further study.
