At present, with the steel structure using widely, people put more focus on the research of the node in steelwork. Due to its good energy-dissipation, Semi-rigid connection has become an important subject among a large amount of researchers. And in Engineering Reality, both pinned and rigid joints entirely are not exsisted, so we should fully considered the effect of the the Semi-rigid connection in the steel frame design process.Firstly, here introduces the background and present situation of semi-rigid nodes, and then has a depth study of semi-rigid nodes based on the known data; Secondly, here draws an elastic stiffness equation of beam element considering the combined influence of axial force and shear deformation through the theory analysis and derivation.Thirdly, studying the properties of semi-rigid connection with top and buttom angle steel by means of the test and finite element analysis. As the same, here draws the factor which may influence the property and action of the node with semi-rigid connection of top and buttom angle through the finite element analysis. Then, fitting the formula between the bending moment and the angle. Finally, studying the inflence of rotational stiffness and torsional stiffness to the poperty and action of frame combined with a single span and two layers frame model with semi-rigid connection.
