Tibetan areas has a long history of architecture, owning various styles of highly ancient and mysterious flavors combining with Tibet regional unique geographical environment, religion, ethnic customs and other factors and produce a kind of modeling and color full of plateau features and become an important part of Tibetan art. This paper mainly studies the architecture color in Tibetan areas, especially some unique color processing technique, such as the coordination between buildings and surroundings, the rate of building color in composition of pictures and the relationship among various colors, etc. showing a kind of special tonal beauty. This links closer with local region's natural surrounding and humane environment, gestating from Tibetan people and aesthetic habit of the nature, slowing into the folk life and religious beliefs, lasting ever since nowadays.This article has discussed and analyzed for several aspects mentioned above, and divided into four main parts: the first part is about relevant theories on architecture color, mainly refers to La Geographe de La Couleur does influence for architecture color characteristics in one region or city and Chromatology does effects for color design. La Geographe de La Couleur can be divided into two aspects: natural geographical factors and human geographical factors. Natural geographical factors generally include weather, landform and building materials, etc. historical and cultural factors, religious factors and national psychological factors also form human geographical factors. To discuss the chromatology's effective influence for architecture through analysis from La Geographe de La Couleur provides the foundation for research on Tibetan arthitecture color. The second part mainly refers to the reorganization of architecture color characteristics in Tibetan regions. Based on the first content discussed above, this part will analyze the characteristics in Tibetan architectures; especially pay more attention to the coordination with the surroundings and gradually gestate local folk life and religious beliefs under the influence of the natural environment. With so many factors, Tibetan architectures have experienced for thousands of years but maintain the original style. Summarized up the features such as high purity, top lightness and strong contrast owned by Tibetan architectures, it formed a holistic vision efficiency combining with the color contrast and coordinated design principles and became the model in colors in Tibetan architectures. In the third part, it mainly studied the forms and proportions among compositions of pictures. This is the main content and innovative part in the paper. It includes two aspects: color composition and proportion. The color composition aspect basically reflects the style and features of architectures. Tibetan architecture color composition mainly crosswise compositions and the main colors mention to red, white, black and yellow, with lively gorgeous, strong comparative and certain proportion correlations. The corresponding colors make Tibetan architectures connotations. The last part in the paper is to summarize and use the Tibetan architecture colors. Tibetan architecture colors have their own special color tone and style, with precious processing techniques being worth for us to inherit and carry forward. We need to absorb the advantages of Tibetan constructions and study the aesthetic essence of our national architecture colors in further color planning, to create a kind of architecture color system reflecting traditional national essence and full time features.This paper analyzes the various factors from several perspectives about Tibetan regional architectures'color beauty and preliminary studied how to inherit and develop the constructional colors in Tibetan regions and to create harmonious architecture color system in following days.
