Ecological Protection Technology Of Road Side Slope In Lishui Mountainous Area And Its Analysis

Since the traditional means of slope protection using stones, earth, or concrete can cause the destroy of plants, the waste of energy, and negative influence to ecological environment, the adoption of planting on the slopes will be advanced in ecology and economy. The thesis focuses on slopes ecological protecting with plants, and analyses its theories and functions to ecological environment. Based on the real investigation and project examples, the paper proves the possibilities and realities of adopting the local plants in ecological protection engineering, and discusses the further possible means for the ecological protection:1. For the broken stony slopes where the angle is lower than 1:0.32, TBS (Thick-layer Base Material Spraying) will be the substitute of the traditional means of concreted stones on the slopes in lowing down the capital by 20 to 30 percentage while the slopes become green again and landscape improved. TBS chooses the common local grasses, bushes which effect is better than the imported species.2. For the steep and high slopes of the roads, SNS(Safety Netting System), comparing to the traditional concrete projects, will save money, decrease energy consumption, and keep on the slope plants to the greatest extent, then the ecological environment can be improved. If combined with SNS, spraying or planting local plants, it will be more beneficial in ecology.3. For the lower slopes where the earth is thick and soft, especially the newly built roads with sparse plants, it is easy to be destroyed by rainfall, so the help from Vetiver will be benefit, quicker in effects, lower in investment, better in improving the ecological environment along the roads. 4. For the high and steep upper slopes with rocks, to protect environment with green plants, Japanese creeper will be cheaper and quicker in effects. Since the earth is barren and thin, the best way to plant the creepers should be adding earth and give fertilizers.Lishui is rich in the resources of plants. It is a new and creative work to adopt local plants in the ecological protection along the road-slopes. It is full of perspectives and need to start to research on how to choose species, grow seeds, and feed sprouts in road slope protection. Road slope protection with ecological ways proves to be meaningful in reality with its importance and function to promote and help the ecological economy developments in Lishui.
