| This paper introduces the starting equipment and braking equipment, and an integrated hydroviscous drive soft starter and soft brake equipment is proposed based on the hydroviscous drive soft starter system.The theoretical basis for the hydroviscous soft starter and soft brake equipment is the hydraulic viscous driving technique, whose transmission principle is based on Newton internal friction law. The concept, basic principle, characteristic and the development of the hydraulic viscous driving are introduced at the beginning of the dissertation. Characteristic of the hydraulic viscous driving is analyzed, and after the towing torques in the transmission process are calculated and analyzed, a method for reducing the towing torques is proposed. Main structure of the hydroviscous drive soft starter and soft brake equipment is introduced on its starter system and brake system.Computational method for calculating driving torques under 3 different working conditions has been introduced, the mechanical system of the hydroviscous drive soft starter and soft brake equipment is designed, including the starter system and the brake system, based on the conbining process of the friction disks and the requirements of the driving torques. The design of the starter system includes design and analysis of the friction pair, design and calculation of the shaft, design and sealing equipment selection of the piston and other parts of the machine; The design of the brake system includes the friction pair design and its analysis, calculation and selection of the disc spring and design of piston and cylinder.The integrated equipment's requirments for the hydraulic system is analyzed. A series of hydraulic system designs are proposed, including oil supply plan, oil pump driving plan, rotating seal scheme, arrangements of oil filter and meter, and the schematic diagram of the hydraulic system. Calculation and selection for the components in the hydraulic system are completed, including the calculation and selection for the oil pump, calculation and selection for the oil filter, and the selection of the cooler. |
