Based on this premise, creating a culture characteristics of community park will become the mainstream of the community park landscape design direction. And how to meet the cultural needs of the modern residents better, creating a landscape space with rich cultural implication, suitable for residents'activities and association is the content of this paper.Through the collection of relevant literature and learning, and multiple cases of field trips, careful analyzing of the characteristics of the landscape of the community park. Then get the common requirements of community park landscape design:pay attention to ecological benefit, embodied humanistic care, conform to public interests, keep landscape vigor and display the culture features. Provideing the foundation and direction for the cultural landscape design of community park. Through interviewing, investigation, and analysis of various community of Changsha found that the main building cultural system elements of community parks is local culture, living culture and community culture. And landscape design combine with environmental cognitive theory, motivation theory as the theoretical basis of the theory, the conclusion has been comprehensive proposed landscape design principles of community parks and cultural design in landscape elements of community park.
