Recently, bridge deterioration with time and ever increasing traffic loads raise concerns about safety and durability to aging bridges. The management and optimum repair strategy of Highway Bridge has earned world-wide attentions. In order to keep pace with the growing demand for deteriorating bridges with financial resources, decision makers have to evaluate the safety and durability of the aging bridges correctly. It is based on this; optimum repair strategy can be made.In order to enforce the management of the bridge, lots of country include China have researched Bridge Management System (BMS) of different styles. The BMS is a new management technical which unite with bridge construction project, disease mechanism, detection technical and data collection technical. We can register the status, evaluate the conditions, predict the conditions of the in existence bridge with the BMS.For the BMS, one of its main functions is evaluate the conditions of the bridge. It will be a data management system if the BMS is without the bridge condition evaluation function.In view of the problems of the bridge evaluation and the bridge maintenance decision-making about the BMS, this paper conjunct with the science project, which initiate by the Liaoning Datong Road Construction Company, LTD called The Highway Bridge & culvert maintenance of Liaoning province, we did some research as following:Contrast with the technical evaluation models, indicate and correct the faultiness of the models.In view of the faultiness of the model I present an associate matrix method in this paper, and I have analyzed the imitation of the associate matrix method.Introduce a max &min method in my paper and analyse the feasibility in a real project, evaluate the bridge grading of different disease, analyse the result of different disease associated.The new model has test by the engineer of Liaoning Datong Road Construction Company, LTD, and they cognizanced that this new model can be used in the real project. |
