The Research On Conservation And Renovation Of Industrial Architectural Heritages In Xiangtan Eastern District

Industry heritage is the total of cultural heritage and non-material cultural heritage, which is reserved in the industrialization development, the protection on it received attentions extensively from domestic to foreign countries. Xiangtan, as one of the first industry cities with state key investment and construction, it has many of influential industry enterprise involved in machinery, textile and electricity. But in recent years, along with rapid economic development and social industry structure adjustment in the state, some of long-established enterprises begun to decay, some of valuable industry buildings have been abandoned along with some stopped enterprises. How to prefect the protection on industry heritage in the rapid urban development, inject new energy to the"old factory, old mine zone", enable them can extend industry industrialization's history pulse, drive the region's sustainable development, it is the new topic for the urban construction in our nation.Through the investigation and researching on the spot in the east of Xiangtan, we discovered many deficiencies in the protection and renewal on Xiangtan industry constructions. Based on collection of relevant information, combined with domestic and foreign researching on industry construction heritage theory, borrowed idea from domestic and foreign successful cases, aims at existing problems in the industry construction protection and development, the article presents suitable policies and planning suggestions on protection and renewal industry constructions in the east of Xiangtan, the articles presents that, the identification of industry construction protection shall be sound well firstly. By the value appraisal, classification, sorts the valuable industry heritage, and applies for protection. At present, many of industry constructions in Xiangtan are not in the scale, the industry distribution in Xiangtan is in spot, the difficulties in protection and usage are very high, we shall perfect the construction protection laws, cultural relic management policies, construction protection technologies combine with actual status, and adopt suitable ecological policy to improve life environment, and then plan reasonably the protection and development design on the old factory, develop scientifically the urban pulse. Finally, the scientific researching results mentioned above will be summarized, takes two factories reconstruction in the east of Xiangtan as the example, to offer reference to Xiangtan industry heritage protection and renewal.
