Ship Bridge's Visual Environment Design And Application Based On Ergonomics

Acting as the "brain" of the whole ship, the bridge is responsible for controlling ship's operating and navigation. Visual environment as an important part of the bridge environment has a potential impact on seafarers'physical fatigue and psychological feelings. The designer paid more and more attentions to human factors in ship design phase. Europe and the America have worked out their own ship's bridge ergonomic standards. In China, the ergonomic standards on ship's bridge environmental design has not systematically proposed, especially for the bridge's environmental color and lighting design. In order to improve the seafarers'working environment, it is necessary to use ergonomic method during the bridge's visual environment design.This paper concerned the component factors of the bridge's visual environment, combined those functions and characteristics to build the visual environment accord with ergonomic requirements, and proposed the visual factors design methods and each factor's overall research. Taking 7000DWT tanker as sample to design the bridge's visual environment, and proposed the reasonable design schemes.Firstly, used the color harmony theory to analysis the bridge's environmental color, based on the composition of color's three elements and combined with color effecting of the seafarers'psychological, propose the suitable bridge color matching schemes. In order to evaluate the environmental color schemes, this paper took the color's three elements as fuzzy sets to fuzzy evaluation.Meanwhile, this paper also studied the bridge's lighting environment. According to the normal lighting calculations methods have tedious steps, neural network method was proposed to train the calculation samples, and using the visualization programming language to compile the lamb number calculation software. Combined with the lighting layout principle, make out the bridges'lighting layout in order to effectively reduce the glare.Finally, took 7000DWT bridge's visual environment color design and lighting design scheme for the sample, used three-dimensional design software to establish the bridge model and simulate the environmental factors, by rendering to show the real visual effect.The content which was discussed in this paper technically supported the ship's bridge visual environment, which was the foundation of the concretely improving of the seafarers' working environment.
