Acoustic positioning technology is widely used in the field of marine science. On the background of SBL (Short Base Line) underwater acoustic positioning system, this paper accomplishes the design and debug of signal processor hardware platform, including the hardware circuit of analog receiver and digital signal processor. Three main tasks have been done in this paper. Firstly, according to the application requirements of the system, this paper analyzes the choice of working methods theoretically as well as the design demand of signal processor's hardware platform. Secondly, the design of the platform for SBL acoustic positioning system is completed. Last, the signal processor's hardware platform is debugged in this paper.The hardware of signal processor mainly includes analog receiver and digital signal processor. The analog receiver, which is mainly responsible for conditioning output signals from hydrophone, transmits the signal to A/D converter through opto isolated circuit, which is mainly used for signal detection and estimation. It calculates the time delay for each array relative to the target. Moreover, it uploads the time delay and direction attitude information to the host computer through the FPGA and receives the instructions that send by the host computer.The signal processor hardware platform of Short Baseline Underwater Acoustic Positioning System is proved to be stable and reliable through test, in which technical specifications meet all the requirements.
