Research And Implementation Of Transceiver Split Doppler Log For Land Use

The accurate measurement of vehicle speed has a great significance for traffic safety and land navigation.In terrestrial navigation, integrated navigation is widely used, while there are many kinds of method for navigation, one of which is composed of log and inertial navigation. This combination enables the log to provide error correction for inertial navigation system.Since the log appeared, it has been used to measure the ship speed and range as a navigation instrument in marine services. This paper aims to extend the Doppler principle to be applied not only in marine services, but also in land services. In the field of vehicle speed, it can overcome the traditional error and the environmental impact instead of the traditional measurement method.This paper first analyzes the velocity measurement principle and several common kinds of frequency measurement algorithms of the Doppler log in detail.After a series of analysis, this paper finally chooses the complex correlation algorithm to do frequency detection for Doppler log.Then its hardware design is detailedly studied, including ultrasonic transmitter and receiver system and DSP peripherals.In this system,the ultrasonic transmitter system includes digital signal generator,piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer and electrical matching of this transducer.The ultrasonic receiver system includes programmable gain amplifier and band-pass filter.The DSP peripherals include reset circuit,clock circuit,JTAG interface circuit,power circuit,AD module interface circuit and serial communication interface circuit.Moreover, the paper gives its software design, including all implementations of the PWM signal, AD module, serial communication, and frequency measurement scheme.Lastly, by simulation, the paper shows anti-interference performance of the complex correlation method in the transceiver-split Doppler log for land use.
