In this paper,45,000 tons of chemicals for the mother ship type, through the research for the stainless steel welding and surface treatment technology and develop a typical stainless steel tank simulation of sub-sub-structure (nodes), master key technology of constructing stainless steel cabin,Formed technical reserves design, construction technology and management systems of stainless steel tank chemical vessel, process design and construction capabilities of new stainless steel tank chemical tanker.The main contents and test method to be adopted as follows:1) Describes the characteristics of duplex stainless steel, welding and soldering methods and techniques,2) Research the three welding methods of duplex stainless steel, microstructure analysis demonstrated that by the reasonable control of welding parameters and heat input control, austenite and ferrite of dual phase steel after welding achieves a better equilibrium,3) Sub-prediction welding deformation of analog segment, using equivalent load based on inherent strain method to predict the stainless steel the welding deformation of analog segment (node), simulation structure of ship, obtain the final deformation by elastic analysis,4) This paper aims at the mastery of welding technology for modern chemical tanker made from duplex stainless steel,5) Investigation was done on the design and manufacture of stainless steel simulative hull block (knot) in stainless steel cargo holds of a chemical tanker,6) The research result for shipbuilding technology was adopted, and the quality of the block (knot) should be meeting the quality requirement of the stainless steel cargo tank.
