| Because of its inherent high ratio between stiffness/strength and weight, composite material has been applied widely to all kinds of ship manufacture.The steel sandwich plate system(SPS) as a new type of marine composite material is paied more and more attention to domestic and foreign researchers. This paper focuses on the steel sandwich plate as the representative of the composite material in hull structure, and the following aspects are studied:1. The equivalent mechanical model of SPS is researched.The currently applied equivalent models are summarized, different equivalent models are made based on equivalent principle. Based on specific examples of the various methods in the calculation of sandwich panels, the natural frequency is obtained for dynamic analysis of the equivalent method;2. The buckling strength and ultimate strength of steel sandwich plate is calculated, the sandwich plate steel deck plate frame structure has been optimized to meet the strength requirements;3. The free vibration equation of steel sandwich plate was derived, and the formula of natural frequency is given under the most common simply supported condition;4. The modification design of a chemical tanker's material and structure was carried out, the damping properties of steel sandwich plate is better than other structure through the comparison of the original chemical tanker and the modified one. |
