Building military protection project, the project will involve the choice ofmaterials. It has a high demand on strength, toughness, durability and anti-impact formilitary protection. RPC (Reactive Powder Concrete) is a material which has highstrength, high toughness and high durability that made by high standard cement,ultrafine mineral admixtures, efficient water reducing agent and ultrafine steel fiber. Itcan meet the need of protection projects. The design of protection engineering mustconsider bombings and the impact load. The study of RPC high-pressure stateequation can provide the theory basis and the performance parameters for design andcalculation of protection engineering, and it has the vital significance for improvingwartime survivability of military protection engineering. Research of the study is asfollows.In the study, RPC was prepared with fly ash, silica fume, and the volume fraction(V_f)of RPC ranged from 0 to 5%. The main factors of influencing compressivestrength of RPC are mastered. On this basis, RPC formula which is fit for the strongimpact experiment is optimized from the numerous RPC formulation.Using the one stage gas gun, RPC was impacted at the speed of 0-1500m/s.According to the experimental data and the related theory deduce the D-u Hugoniotcurve and the P-u Hugoniot curve which reflect the strong anti-impact performance ofRPC, and obtained the Grüneisen type high pressure equation under the impactloading.Using ANSYS/ls-dyna software, the dynamic response of RPC was simulatedunder the loading of one stage gas gun. According to the analog data and the relatedtheory deduce the D-u Hugoniot curve and the P-u Hugoniot curve and the Grüneisentype high pressure equation of RPC. Determining the accuracy of the experimentaldata and analyzing the Grüneisen type high pressure equation influence of V_f fromcontrasting analysis.The results of the study can provide the dynamic performance parameters ofRPC in military protection engineering construction, and it has certain reference valueon choosing the material of military protection engineering.
