The Research On The Interior Design Of LOFT

Urban construction has continuously been accelerating in China in recent years. Architectures and buildings once belonging to but left behind the industrialization era have lost their original attraction in this ever speeding process. Certain residential architecture characterized by LOFT redecoration, i.e. to redecorate small or medium sized old industrial buildings and reused them as dwelling house or working studio, has been getting momentum due to its original and alternative style. And it is becoming a noticeable trend with it sever enlarging quantity and scale outside China .This article starts with introducing the concept and characteristics of LOFT architecture . which includes the whole process of the origination and development of Loft. Then the article presented its impact and significance upon urban construction, ecological environment and lift styles etc. Then the article mainly presented the interior design of Loft, especially focused on spatial structure. Then the article combined with practical examples to analyze the interior design method and characteristics of Loft. Finally the article illustrates the significant impact brought by LOFT architecture on China's urban architecture rejuvenation activities, life styles and architecture industry development.
