In the terminal guidance stage of air-to-air missile, the target escapesattack in high maneuver. For missile speaking, the remaining time is short.Because of the increase of maneuvering target uncertainty interference, tracking target is difficult. Therefore, to design a good guidance law of therapid response target maneuver, it is important to estimate the correct targetstate for missile to accurately attack target. So, how to correctly estimatedtarget state especially the acceleration of target, has become a key forair-to-air missile to track and intercept high maneuvering target. In thisbackground, this paper researches maneuvering target state estimationalgorithm in the complex combat environment.Firstly, this paper researches nonlinear filtering algorithm in the base ofmeasurement model of active radar, focusing on CMKF algorithm, EKFalgorithm, PTLKF algorithm and STF algorithm. For each algorithm arematlab simulation analyses, combing with the three dimensional spacespiral maneuvering target model in the base of the current statistical model. Then, this paper researches the interacting multiple model (IMM)algorithm. The IMM is found based on constant turn (CT) model, constantacceleration(CA) model, constant velocity(CV) model, and simulated andanalyzed combing with the CMKF algorithm. Finally, based on research of the proportional guidance law andoptimal guidance law, for proportional guidance law and optimal guidancelaw are matlab simulation analyses, combing with the two dimensionallinear intercept model and kalman filter algorithm. The simulation resultsshow that optimal guidance law is advanced.
