Studies In Tectonic Of Le Corbusier

At the turn of the twentieth century in Europe. The social and economic development conditions are to some extent similar to our current social context. The study at the master's creative philosophy. And strategies have its guiding meaning and reference to the realistic practice.Le Corbusier's long career has spanned almost the entire course of development of modern architecture. The buildings which have the typical sense of Cobb's life was analyzed and interpreted in this paper. From another perspective, I would like to understand and further enrich the theory achievement about Le Corbusier. From the "purism" period mainly with white finish to the crude concrete-based "Brutalism" period, Cobb had never stopped to think under the tectonic perspective; people only see the performance after his leaving Paris. However, the Cobb's tectonic characteristic before the thirties has emerged, and he had also being explored ceaselessly and advancing in the tectonic road.Frampton in his book"studies in tectonic culture"extends the vision of tectonic culture to seven aspects. This paper applied this theory to the studies of Le Corbusier's tectonic culture,in order to explore his tectonic concepts and strategies for his times.
