To solve the problem of power reserve of mechanical watch, this paper gives acloser research on the core of power origin, it includes analysis of spring's powerreserve and calculation of stable moment releasing curve as following:1. Mainly focus on the spring, completely introduces its structure, working theory,working performance, raw material and design. Due to the key function of spring tostructure energy, this paper analyzes the necessity of lubrication and introduces themethods of oil-cleaning and oil-filling.2. Deeply analyze the working theory of three springs'reserve methods,maindesign points and work out the spring moment's design calculation process. Also,choose the proper mechanism by analyzing separate characters.3. Analyze the moment releasing curve after enlarging the power reserve, comparesit with the normal moment releasing curve and raises the different mechanisms likepermanent power system and stop-balance mechanism. According to movement'sdifferent design requirements, this paper research and compare the difference of severalmethods, summarize their applicable areas and make final solutions depending on thistopic. Moreover, with regard to the appearance of new materials, choosing and practiceof new materials on some mechanisms are analyzed.Enlarging the spring reserve power and stabilizing the moment releasingmechanism of this paper have already practiced in some samples; it proved that the newenergy mechanism and stable moment releasing mechanism are practical both in theoryand production with a result: power reserveā‰„168hrs working precision:-20~40seconds;it's advanced in current market. The new mechanism of this paper safeguards theproduct stability and precision so as to play role in occupying the domestic high endwatch market, developing potential market and leading to worldlevel(-10~15seconds/day).
