The process of engineering structure reasonable design is often a repeated revision and calculation process, demanding not only, and the effect not beautiful. If the designers can timely and efficiently get the reasonable structure scheme, the three indexes that cycle-ratio, displacement-ratio and the total steel quantity index will reach national current standard design requirements once the structure model was established.So, it has important practical significance to the engineering structure design.The stiffness distribution of structure have important influence to the cycle-ratio, displacement-ratio and the total steel quantity. In order to improve the structure design efficiency and ensure the structural layout is reasonable, this thesis probe into having a software program and a database established by considering the engineering structure design status and the current national current standard. This paper focuses on how to adjust the torsional rigidity , flexural rigidity and lateral rigidity of the structure through the adjustment of the number of shearwall and decorate position,then the cycle-ratio, displacement-ratio will be controlled in reasonable numerical range,and the steel quantity index will be controlled,too. It take research of decorating quantification model of shear wall structure and the parameter values which are needed in the rationality judgment of shearwall decorate position. It take parameter value as the target, paper has studied the achievement of the structural layout optimization method and it means to use commercial software to make a secondary development and establish the corresponding database.This study shows that: structural designers can get the parameters of the decorating quantification model by input the layout case to the software program, and then they can adjust the parameters according to the reasonable value range in the database to obtain a higher efficiency and a better optimization result.
