Abstract/Summary:
As the rapid development of the UHV's construction in our country, electromagnetic environment has gradually become the dominate control factor of engineering design and cost. In the circumstances that the area is vast and climate conditions is vastly different, the previous data transmission line design has been difficult to meet the requirements, Meanwhile, the high-voltage transmission project construction also faces the unique impact of high altitude, at the high altitude area, the relative density of the air has reduced, the distance between air molecules has increased, which makes the free travel distance of electrons becoming larger and easier to get enough momentum to help the occurrence of corona discharge, according to the traditional design of wires, high altitude area's wire corona loss, radio interference and audible noise, corona effect will greatly increase, which may exceed the standards. Therefore, the high-altitude factor will highlight transmission project'electromagnetic environmental issues, it should be in-depth studying and necessary to take the technical measures to control the problem. This paper designed a medium corona cage which will be placed in the climate chamber to accurately study altitude, temperature, humidity, atmospheric density and rainfall, snow and Frost and other climate conditions, which influenced the radio interference and audible noise of the typical type of wire. As the reseaon of the progress of the project, this paper describes only the altitude factors on characteristics of corona wires, the UHV corona cage was used to test wire's corona characteristics, under different field strength and rainfall, the radio interference and audible noise were recorded and analied to get their variation rules,then according to the results of the above test, it was derived to get the wire's corona generation,which can be equivalent to the actual corona generation of transmission line. At the same time, it can be known about the various factors'influence on the corona characteristics of wire to guide the choice of wire and make the project of UHV transmission environment-protective, conservative, economic.
