Paper gives a brief introduction on the basic knowledge of the typical chassis control systems (ABS, ESP, and ARC). Paper analyses the problem of the integrated multi-control systems and leads to the concept of integrated chassis control system. Paper analyses the development of the integrated chassis control system in domestic and international and obtains that the study of integrated chassis control system has become an inevitable trend in the development of automotive electronic technology. This study is based on virtual simulation technology, a multi-body dynamic vehicle model is established by using ADAMS/Car software and the integrated control system which contains ABS, ESP and ARC is established by using ADAMS/Mechatronics module; the ABS, ESP, ARC co-simulation controller is established by taking advantage of MATLAB/Simulink software package and be integrated into an integrated chassis control system. Co-simulating the performance of the integrated chassis control system based on the interface between Mechatronics and Simulink. Through the single lane change test on dry road and slippery road, respectively for: (1) comparing the vehicle with ESP system or not; (2) comparing the vehicle without anti roll bar, with anti roll bar and with ARC system; (3) comparing the vehicle with ESP and ARC systems, analyses results and draws conclusions.Co-simulation results show that the integrated chassis control system which increases an ARC control system, because of the parameters of control system are setting properly, multi-control system integration has not only cause mutual interference, and compared with a single chassis control system, can better control the vehicle yaw and lateral motion, and significantly reduces body roll angle, further improve the driving stability of vehicle and driving safety on slippery road, for the future development of integrated chassis control system provides a reference of practical value. The research method and conclusions of this paper has some significance and reference value for the multi-body vehicle dynamics modeling, co-simulation controller designing and co-simulation of integrated chassis control system.
