| Abstract: Pumps are widely used in various fields of agriculture, industry and people's daily life. The pump station plays an important role in the above fields. Nowadays, with the rapid development of social economy and the advancement of technology, more pump stations will be constructed in the future. During the construction and development of a city, a pump station is an indispensable component of any municipal water and wastewater system, and plays a critical part in the regular run of the city. It is closely related to people's daily life. As is known to all, energy and environment are the most serious problems of the current world. With the continuing improvement of the living standards, people begin to realize that energy is vital to human race, while pump station is a big energy consumer. So it seems especially important to study how to save energy and how to achieve the optimized operation and regulation in a pump station.This paper introduces the current situation of the operation and regulation of the pump stations both at home and abroad. And a summary is made according to the deficiencies in the operation and regulation of domestic drainage pump stations. Through the investigation and analysis of one drainage pump station in a certain city, based on the scientific management of the pump station, the maintenance of the mechanical and electrical equipments, energy conservation and environment protection of the pump station, and the technical training of the staff, a strategy and some effective measures to achieve the optimization are put forward, which can help reduce the energy consumption and help achieve the economic and energy-saving operation. And finally, the optimal operation and regulation of the pump station can be achieved.The methods and measures put forward in this paper aim at providing administrators with theoretical and practical basis. They are also instructive in improving the operation and regulation of a pump station and in energy conservation. |
