Precast concrete shear wall structure was researched and designed by research group of Harbin Institute of Technology,which is preliminary validated by experimentation to be a structural system of Housing Industrialization that is appropriate for the situation of China. The key of precast concrete shear wall structure is the joint of precast element, including the connecting of reinforced bar and joint surface. Among them, the reliability of vertical joint surface relate to the entirety and seismic performance of structure. To generalize precast concrete shear wall structure appropriating for high-rise building and high intensity seismic region, it's necessary to proceed system research on precast concrete shear wall with vertical joint surface. Wherefore the study on the shear resistant bearing capacity of joint surface and the seismic performance of precast concrete shear wall with vertical joint surface present vital important theory significance and engineering value.Fristly, for realizing shear performance of joint surface,this paper designed and produced a lot of shear test specimen, and analysed the shear resistant performance and bearing capacity among the result of the test. It's known the increase of the size and number of the pin key, shear reinforcement and pressure on the face can enhance the shear resistant bearing capacity. In particular, the set of shear reinforcement makes joint surface having retained strength after critical load, presenting ductile facture characteristic.After that, according to normal construction technology, this paper adopted the kernel technology of precast concrete shear wall structure to produce three precast concrete shear walls with vertical joint surface and three cast-in-place concrete shear walls for comparison. The pseudo-static test of these specimens had been carried out. The destructive process and mode, the performance under load, deformability, the load-deformation relationship, ductility, etc was obtained. In contrast to cast-in-place concrete shear wall, we could appraise the seismic performance of precast shear wall. By the result, It's proven that precast shear wall possess similar performance to cast-in-place concrete shear wall, bearing capacity on the low side , possing a little stronger ductility. It's said that precast concrete shear wall with vertical joint surface has almost the same or even better seismic performance as cast-in-place concrete shear wall. At last, Based on actual bearing capacity of shear test, considering different kinds of influencing factor, presented the design proposal formulate of the bearing capacity of the joint surface. The formulate reflects the friction and dowel action of the shear reinforcement; Then Based on the result of pseudo-static test, we obtained that the shear resistant formula of concrete wall in current codes is proved to be suitable for precast concrete shear wall with vertical joint, and with some amendment, this paper presented the design proposal formulate.
