Study On The Landmark Landscape Of Nanjing

As the rapid development of modern city construction,urban landscape is becoming moreand more similar in China. Meanwhile, many large cities are building landmarks to represent theimage of the city, and appear a phenomenon of building landmark blindly. Under this context ofChina, this thesis studied on landmark landscape,and selected the historical and culturalcity——Nanjing as an object.This thesis uses theoretical research, field investigation, public research, etc method,synthetically applies the theoretical basis of several disciplines,such as landscape architectureand aesthetics of urban design, ecology, architecture, sociology, analysis the urban landmarklandscape of Nanjing in deep and multiple perspectives.The full text divided into six chapters:The first chapter elaborates the subject's times background,the academic background,the researchstatus at home and abroad,the research contents,the methods, the innovative points,the relatedconcepts and so on.And it points out research objective and realistic significance of thesubject.The second chapter analyzes the formation,the classification,the characteristic,thehistorical performance,the present development and misunderstandings of landmark landscapesin China.The third chapter analyzes the features and forms of historic landmark landscapes ofNanjing, and profiles of morden Nanjing, then obtained the public landmark landscape ofNanjing through investigation.It analyzes the features of Sun Yat-Sen mausoleum, Xuanwu Lake,Zifeng Tower and summarizes the present development and misunderstanding of landmarklandscape.The fourth chapter analyzes the positive and negative impacts on urbandevelopment brought by landmark landscapes.On the basis of the above contents,the fifth chapterdraws a conclusion of the construction suggestions and directions of the urban landmarklandscape of Nanjing in the future.The sixth chapter summarizes all above and puts forward theinsufficient and prospect.
