| With urban development, especially with the rapid increase in large publicbuildings, building energy consumption is also increasing rapidly year by year. InChina, there still has some unreasonable components in design and operation processof air-conditioning system in large public buildings and these issues lead to energydissipation as well as building energy consumption increasing. Therefore, making theenergy-saving design and strengthening the optimal control of operation andmanagement for air-conditioning system in the large public buildings is verynecessary.In this paper,through the presentation about the energy consumption status ofdomestic and foreign large-scale public buildings, we can see the energy-savingpotential of large-scale public buildings is very large. The energy saving measures ofthe air-conditioning system have been proposed and studied through the followingrespects: 1)design of the air conditioning system, 2)application of energy-savingtechnology in air-conditioning system, 3)the automatic control of the systemautomation and control. And the basic approaches to energy-saving have also beensummarized. The calculation of the building load provides a theoretical support forthe energy-saving design.In this paper, focusing on the energy-saving technology, energy consumptionanalysis of a large-scale shopping center in the city in North China was given and icestorage technology was adopted by this building. At first, taking the shopping centeras a research object, the DeST software has been used to calculate the Dynamiccooling load throughout the year, draw out the air-conditioning load distributionfrequency plot and analyze the effect of different external structure material types onbuilding load. Take the total cost of the ice storage system as an objective function tocalculate the best storage rate of this project and choose the right ice-storageequipments. According to the local time-of-use (TOU) power price policy and thebuilding load, the running strategies of the system in the typical operating conditionshave been studied.At last, the dynamic economic evaluation method was used to analyze andcompare the initial and operation cost between the ice storage system and common air-conditioning system. The dynamic investment payback period was 1.83 years. It isdemonstrated that the use of ice storage air-conditioning system has a good energyprospects. |
