China has the vast territory scale, individual nature of the soil and construction material varied widely. Consequently that vary impacts the construction process. In southwest China, the majority sand is extra-fined. The basic construction principle is to utilize the nature resource efficiently and to maximize the usage of local material. In line with the aforesaid principle, the research on the extra-fined sand ingredient concrete, which is applied widely for the procession of vertical shaft sliding shuttering system, is far behind the construction practice. The domestic existing formula regulation and application (Ref.BJG19-65) for the extra-fined concrete was authorized and issued in 1965 by the Science and Technology department, which is subordinate to the National Construction Bureau.In the factory of invented dry cement production, the concrete tanks, including the raw material sterling canister, well-done material storage, cements storage and the like vital units, were shaft structured and constructed by the means of pumping concrete and casting with the sliding shuttering system. It could efficiently save the construction time, while the concrete tank quality was secured. In this dissertation, citing the construction practice of the raw material sterling canister and well-done material storage in the invented dry cement manufacturer in Sichuan Province, the research, analysis theoretically and conclusion had been made for the application of extra-fined sand ingredient concrete in the procession of vertical shaft sliding shuttering system. The research was developed by means of the adjustment of raw material ratio and the time control of sliding shuttering. It improved the standard of shuttering surface and reduced the possibility of concrete crack. The criteria of the construction concrete had been addressed, and it enhanced the concrete durability and appearance, in the mean time; it efficiently benefited the social and environmental standard.The research, for the application of extra-fined sand ingredient concrete in the procession of vertical shaft sliding shuttering system, is to evaluate the impaction of the sand-concrete ratio, water-cement ratio, coal-ash and other additions the like, in conjunction of special requirement of the procession of pumping concrete with vertical-shaft sliding shuttering system. Several on-site laboratory simulations have been conducted, which is in the light of substantial configuration of the ratio of abovementioned materials, combined with the feasibility study on the designed enforced concrete rating and the time matching related to the vertical-shaft sliding shuttering system application. It is concluded that the ratio of extra-fined sand ingredient concrete shall be cement: Sand: Rubble: Water: Coal-ash = 387:661:1079:205:68:4.53; and the estimated best time duration for the practice of vertical-shaft sliding shuttering system is in the range of 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours 50 minutes.The achieved research conclusion had been developed and verified by the substantial factories. The superior standard is enhanced when the comprehensive commissioning on the concrete intensity, verticality and visional presentation was conducted in accordance with the National Standard.
