This thesis which based on the theoretical analysis of children's psychological research and referred to the related national codes for the children's education, proposes the requirements of interesting space which decided by the children's psychology and healthy education. It focuses on the problems which existed in our country's kindergartens. And it discusses the environment factors which affect the children's growth and the relevance of kindergarten architectural design, children's healthy growth and reasonable education by exploring the history of kindergarten's origination and development. Also it points out that, when doing kindergarten design, we should hold the equal perspective towards children, understand the psychological needs and the growing process of children and build interesting space to establish suitable environment for the children's growth.This paper studies on the development and exploration cases of the kindergarten both at home and abroad. It analyses the space design ideas which should be focused in kindergarten architectural design and the successful design experience of kindergartens both at home and abroad.And it provides the preliminary study for us to carry out the construction of kindergarten interesting space better. This thesis initially forms the ideas to build the interesting space in kindergarten architectural design. It starts from the overall design of kindergarten, concerning the space composition and interlude, concerning the personalized design of individual building in kindergarten, concerning the functionality and reasonableness of the kindergarten outdoor space, concerning the interesting design in the architectural style and appearance. And it preliminary studies the kindergarten architectural design mode which is proper for creating interesting space which suits the children. At the same time, combined with the author's working practice in kindergarten design, it analyses the ideas of the design cases and the feedback tracking of the subsequent use in order to further strengthen the design ideas of building interesting space in kindergarten design. I hope the view of this paper could provide some useful attempts and reference for kindergarten architectural design.
