Abstract/Summary:
Research on Weapons System-of-Systems (WSOS) Requirement determines the direction of our army's development. However, research on WSOS Requirement is facing four chanlleges: (1) Lack of unified standard of requirement description; (2) Hurdles of requirement model data exchange; (3) Lack of data basis for requirement analysis; (4) Lack of logic basis for requirement verification. The key reason for these chanlleges is the lack of WSOS Requirement Modeling Language which directly decides the verifiability, excitability and reusability of WSOS Requirement Model. The pupose of this paper is to build the WSOS Requirement Meta-model that is used to define WSOS Requirement Language.Four key problems are discussed in this dissertation. They are why need WSOS Requirement Meta-model, what is Meta-model, how to build Meta-model and how to use Meta-model. For this, research status of WSOS Requirement Modeling method and meta-modeling method are discussed firstly to show the importance and urgency of WSOS Requirement Meta-model research. Then the definition and classification of WSOS Requirement Meta-model are discussed. The description and implementation method of meta-model are proposed. Since capability is the core issue of Weapons System-of-Systems (WSOS) Requirement Modeling, this dissertation takes Capability Meta-mode as example to analyze how to build Meta-model, how to transform Capability Meta-Model to viewpoint products and how to support the assessment with executable model based on Meta-Model. Finally, an example of area air defense is carried to validate the methods brought forward in this dissertation.The research indicated that WSOS Requirement Meta-model: (1) achieves data centric development process of WSOS Requirement, which improves development efficiency; (2) unifies standard of requirement description and storage; (3) supports requiremtn evaluation based on excutable model. Hence, WSOS Requirement Meta-model solves key problems in the development of WSOS Requirement well.
