The Research On Planning Of Urban Landscape Character In Enshi

The tide of rapid urbanization in China these three decades has greatly changed the traditional life of Chinese people. But the change with each passing day in the city, it brought the crisis of the homogenization of the urban landscape character.Therefore, the protection of urban style and continuity of the landscape has become an important objective of urban planning. Enshi, as the typical representative of mountain city and minority ethnic settlement in central western regions of China, the city's unique style of the urban landscape impress on every tourist. According to the practical experience of Enshi planning of urban landscape character, this paper attempt to discussed a preliminary study on the method of planning of urban landscape character, trying to sum up and expand both extension and connotation of planning of landscape character.Taking planning of urban landscape character of Enshi as the research object,this paper is consist of six chapters:Chapter one,Introduction.Expound the research background,purpose,contents,procedure,approach and definition of the relevant concept of the thesis.Chapter two,Document review and proposition of the planning of urban landscape character.Through reviewing the documents of both home and abroad on planning of urban landscape character and urban landscape,establish the basic theory and approaches of this research.Chapter three, The analysis of the practical cases on planning of urban landscape character. Consider the autonomous capital of ethnic minorities and characteristics of mountain city of Enshi. Select the planning cases of Tongdao, Chongqing and Wuhan wujiashan areas related to this thesis, extract the method of planning of urban landscape character.Chapter four, The classification of the urban landscape character assessment and interpretation of Enshi. First enumerate the evaluation methods of urban landscape character; and evaluate the landscape character of Enshi from the natural landscape, artificial landscape and cultural landscape. Since the foundation stone of the planning is in artificial landscape area, so focus on the evaluation of urban artificial landscape. And according to the macro view, middle view and micro view levels to classified evaluation. Finally, put forward the overall interpretation and evaluation of urban style.Chapter five, Urban landscape concept and planning practice in Enshi. First proposed the overall concept of the urban landscape character of the space; and then investigate separately from seven aspects of the planning system of urban landscape character. Finally, based on the space division of the planning of urban landscape character, draft the division guidance of six regions respectively, propose the features of major roads in each region and guide the planning enforced.Chapter six,Epilogue.Based on the conclusion of this research,it puts forward some concrete suggestion, as the reference of the relevant administrations of planning and construction in the future,and offers some relevant suggestion to follow-up researchers.
