The Computer Generated Forces, CGF, is one of the most important part in combat simulation system. The behavioral modeling technology of CGF is to make the CGF act a more real behavior in the virtual combat environment. With the growing importance of the combat simulation, the request on authenticity and real-time of CGF's behavioral modeling is becoming higher. This thesis mainly research on some key technologies of CGF's behavioral modeling in the combat environment, the contribution is listed as follow:Research the collision detection and collision avoidance in CGF formation changing. The formation changing technology is one of the key technologies that determine the performance of the whole simulation system. To avoid collision during formation changing process, we apply collision detection and collision avoidance in general formation changing methods, and use Lenard-Jones potential function to realize the avoidance of collision.Give a new method of consistency maintenance in aggregation and disaggregation based on the improved mapping function. Consistency maintenance is the difficulty and the core problem of aggregation and disaggregation. In this thesis we research the general ways to maintain consistency in aggregation and disaggregation, and improve the consistency mapping functions according to the basic attributes of CGF entity.Completed the research of aggregation-disaggregation method based on memory mechanism and the implementation in HLA framework.To solve the aggregation and disaggregation problem in the real combat simulation system, we design a aggregation-disaggregation method based on memory mechanism and realize it as Memory Federal in HLA framework. Consistency maintenance in this method depends on three parts: preferable consistency mapping functions, improved attribute dependence graph and the memory mechanism. The aggregation-disaggregation method can achieve the aggregation-disaggregation process, as well as give a better Consistency maintenance. Besides, it provides scalability and versatility to some extent.
